Tell us a little about yourselves?
Our Little Chapel is a small family run business that came to life after the birth of our child. Wanting to work for ourselves for job satisfaction and wanted more from life then the 9-5 to watch out little girl grow up. We live and got married in the Hunter Valley and want to share how special this area is with the rest of the world. My husband and I are creatively blessed and were always looking for that special project that could not only bring us closer together but make others special day the most magical time with less hassle and stress possible. We believe the Hunter Valley is the most picturesque place you could ever want or dream of for your special day, there’s so much on offer and once you visit this region you will totally agree.
What inspired you to create your little chapel?
We spent an amazing month in the USA a couple of years ago, in which we came across a mobile chapel and thought to ourselves what an amazing idea for the Valley as most of the wineries don’t have a freestanding chapel and most weddings and receptions are in two different locations and guests have to travel between the two. Our chapel is perfect for those also who own properties or even want a simple back yard wedding for their big day, it looks stunning and makes a statement.
Can you set up at any location?
Yes, just about any location, we offer our services at booking to come and check out the intended location for a few reasons, the safety, of course, is our main reason for the Bride, Groom and Guests but also if the site isn’t quite right we can offer different positioning suggestions.
Is the chapel only for small weddings? Or can you cater for larger weddings?
We can cater for Small or Large weddings, Our little Chapel is designed for both. Inside the chapel is designed for the smaller more intimate weddings with seating for approximately 16-20 guests. For the larger weddings, we recommend a verandah ceremony with seating for approximately 50-60 guests on long handcrafted benches, we also provide shepherd hooks to go along the isle for the Bride and Groom to hang their decorations to personalise their special day.
Where are you based and how far will you travel?
Our home base is Broke, NSW, nestled amongst the foothills of the Brokenback Range and the beautiful boutique wineries so plenty of amazing locations for your special day. In our packages, we allow for 60km travel but we will travel further upon request and additional cost may occur.
What are the best features of your chapel?
Our Little Chapel offers you stunning high ceilings with exposed beams which gives the feeling of space and luxury, we’ve fitted large, openable windows up either side of the chapel and an amazing round feature window at the back of the chapel which has to be seen to believed, it’s absolutely amazing. The chapel itself is fully insulated and with the opening windows allows plenty of cool breezes and natural light. We offer a spacious deck space with uninterrupted views for your guests to watch on. The chapel is run off the grid, we have trapeze lighting inside the chapel and lighting on the deck, there’s a sound system that’s AUX, USB and Bluetooth compatible. The best thing I believe is that the chapel is totally mobile, we come to you.
Do you offer a celebrant service? Or do our couples bring their own?
We don’t offer a celebrant as its totally a personal choice but we can recommend celebrants who we know do an amazing job.
