Charlie & Taylah Jugiong Wedding
Charlie and I met in high school 7 years ago, and it was love at first sight! We have been together since and our beautiful son was born a day between our birthdays in August! A year after our son came along, on the morning of my birthday, Charlie had taken the day off work and went and asked my father for permission to marry me and then came home and surprised me with the Proposal. We went shopping to pick out my ring together.
Lawson’s first birthday was in 6 weeks so we decided to have a surprise wedding as August seemed to be our month! The best day after a few phone calls, we then had the wedding planned in a day. We had the ceremony in Jugiong, we made everything ourselves and had a country/rustic theme.
My bridesmaids and I got ready at the beautiful Sir George in Jugiong and had some gorgeous images captured by our photographer.
Our Venue was close to home and affordable! Our biggest splurge was the bridal party outfits. Everything else we did ourselves to make it affordable but fun!
We did our own food and platters, had a band, a photographer, alcohol, and a wedding cake. I went out of town with everything so that know would find out, the band was called The Young Ones from young, and Our florist was Tillia from the yard studio! We got our cake made by Wilders bakery in young, photography by Nadia Lea Photography based in Gundagai
Doing most of it ourselves made it a lot more affordable, and the whole day was just so fun and relaxed! Everyone enjoyed themselves and we had a lot of great feedback on how we planned the day! Wouldn’t change a thing it was a perfect day!
